The submerged tower

Like something out of a fairytale, the submerged church tower stands out of the Lake Resia. A multi-hour circular trail leads around the attraction, which is itself used by water sports fans in the summer and turns into an ice-skating rink in winter. The history behind the landmark is a sad one: Originally around the tower stood a village, which had to give way to a reservoir project during fascism and was blown up.
